Class Format, What you can expect!

Youth, Ages 5 thru 8, and new students up to 12.  Currently only offered Wednesdays 6 - 8 pm

We have designed this class especially for our younger and newer students.  The format is the same as our current "Youth Ages 9 thru 8th grade" (shown to the right) except that I have abridged some of the most challenging exercises and eliminated a few all together.  Our focus on entry level skills.  We will make sure students try out all of our mediums including vine charcoal, colored pencils, oil pastel, chalk pastel, tempera, water color, and the creative art apps on our iPads..

The class is designed by me, and taught by Diane Roth.  Diane has a degrees in Illustration and industrial design from RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology), and is one of my full time oil painting students.   Diane will be assisted by Jiani Shaw.  Jiani is studying psychology at Miami University and has been a full time student here for almost 4 years.  I will attend the first class of each session.
