Do I have to bring my own supplies?

I provide an easel, large table, chair, rubber floor mat and trash can for everyone.  This is called a work station.  There are nine work stations.

I provide all materials for students age 8 thru 8th grade.  These students are permitted to bring their own paints and other supplies if they want.

Adults including high school age students bring all of their own supplies including brushes. paints, paper towels.  For a list of suggested materials, please visit my Art Supplies recommendations.

Do you teach water color?

Students work in all mediums. i work with my students one on one in whatever medium they choose.  I personally work in oil. acrylic and pastel most of the time, but occasionally use water color and gauche.

How long are the classes?

All semi private classes for adults are 3 hours.  

All classes for youth (age 7 through 8th grade) are 2 hours.

How many people are in the classes?

There are nine work stations, so there are usually no more than nine students in a class.

Can I reserve my space in class?

Yes, you can reserve a space for the same class time each week or I can make a custom schedule of reserved classes for you.  Reserved spaces are paid for in advance.

Do I have to come to the same class, at the same time each week?

No, most of my students come to the same class or same two classes each week, but some students schedules won’t allow them to do this so I can build a custom schedule 4, 8 or 12 weeks in advance.

Will I feel intimidated by the other more experienced students?

I hope not.

But I can’t guarantee it.
